Adding controls is a very important part of cybersecurity. Here's how to add new controls and plan for desired control maturity.

Adding Controls Manually

Here's how to add a new control:

1. Go to 'Tactical' -> 'Control Management' and click on 'Add'

2. Fill in Control Reference, Name, Description and Control Owner

(Note: Control Reference could be a specific control in the standard you use, such as ISO27002.12.2.1)

3. If you wish to add further details, click on 'Advanced Settings'

4. Add Periodicity, Desired Maturity, Business Unit and Department

5. Click on 'Add'

You have now successfully added a control manually! ✅

Adding Controls using AnoveAI

The AnoveAI Assistant can be of great assistance in creating a control. Here's how to use the AnoveAI assistant.

1. Go to 'Tactical' -> 'Control Management' and click on 'Add'

2. Click on 'AnoveAI Assistant'
3. Fill in the details

4. Press the send button at the bottom

You have now successfully added a control using AnoveAI! ✅

Back at the 'Control Management' page, you can see a graph of the Common Control Framework, all your controls, and your average control maturity.
